If you have ever set foot inside an adult toy store, you have probably seen some kind of love dice or sex dice or something along those lines. These dice games have different actions or positions on them, and couples take turns rolling the dice then do what they say. These games can be a lot of fun for some couples, especially if they already enjoy playing games together. If you and your partner play Dungeons and Dragons, then this article is for you. Rather than spending 15 to 20 dollars on more dice, you can just make up your own sex games. Here are a few ideas to help you start using D&D dice in the bedroom, today.
Step 1: Getting Started.
The first thing you’re going to want to do is make lists of different positions, actions, locations, durations, etc. They can be as detailed or as simple as you want. While trying to make up different ways of using D&D dice in the bedroom, we tried to make both specific lists and basic lists where we could. Here are our example lists. Feel free to use these and add or remove stuff as you and your partner see fit.
Positions (specific, 21 listed)
For details on how to perform these positions go to 31 Sex Positions To Try Every Day Of The Month (bustle.com)
Modified doggy, Cowgirl, Reverse cowgirl, X marks the spot, Three-legged-dog, The bridge, Missionary, Spoon, The butterfly, Doggy, One person on top, Coital alignment technique, Sideways straddle, The cross, Lotus, Advanced crab walk, The splitter, Face-to-face, The plow, 69, Face fuck
positions (general, 9 listed)
More basic body positions for games that include things that would be impossible under other circumstances.
Standing, Sitting, Laying on back, Laying on stomach, Laying on side, Kneeling, Doggy, Leaning forward (against a wall), Leaning backward (against a wall).
Duration
Can be used to determine how long to perform an activity before changing. try to keep the numbers reasonable.
1 min, 2 min, 3 min, etc….
type (7 listed)
Vaginal, Oral, Anal, Hand/finger, Toy/vibrator, Titty, Humping/rubbing
Location (furniture, 7 listed)
Bed, Chair, Counter, Floor, Sofa, Tub/shower, Outside
Location (room, 9 listed)
Living room, Bedroom, Bathroom, Hallway, Kitchen, Closet, Balcony/porch, Garage, Laundry room
Actions (20 listed)
Our action list is geared completely towards foreplay games. We decided to include modifiers on our list, but you don’t have to. You can use a separate dice to depict weather to be gentle, or rough, or something in between.
Touch aggressively, Touch gently, Grab aggressively, Grab gently, Stroke aggressively, Stroke gently, Lick aggressively, Lick gently, Suck aggressively, Suck gently, Nibble aggressively, Nibble gently, Blow aggressively, Blow gently, Rub aggressively, Rub gently, Tease/tickle aggressively, Tease/tickle gently, Kiss aggressively, Kiss gently
Pace (descriptions, 7 listed)
Pace is pretty open to interpretation. And like the actions list, our pace list includes modifiers of gentle or hard.
Slow gentle, Medium gentle, Fast gentle, Slow hard, Medium hard, Fast hard, Erratic
Pace (BPM)
One easy way to set a pace is by using beats per minute of songs you know. For example, Staying Alive by the Bee Gees is about 103 beats per minute. To find the BPMs of songs you know, you can visit www.getsongBPMs.com. If you and your partner enjoy having sex to music, you can take this concept a step further by building a play list and roll dice to find your starting song.
90 BPM, 100 BPM, 120 BPM, etc…
Body part (general, 19 listed)
This list is meant to be used for foreplay in conjunction with the actions list.
Butt, Inner thigh, Hips, Back, Neck, Breast, Wrists, Hands, Feet, Face, Head, Stomach, Clavicle, Toes, Fingers, Shoulders, Ribs, Lips, Genitals
Quick actions/modifiers (18 listed)
Modifiers and quick actions can be added to make a game more spicy. Think of this as a catch all for actions, activities or modifiers that aren’t already included in the rest of your game.
Aggressively , Gently, Sporadically, Change activity, Change pace, Change type, Spank, Choke, Grab, Pin, Moan, Talk dirty, Bite, Pull hair, Quietly, Loudly, With ice, With wax.
Step 2: Making Your Game Using D&D Dice in the Bedroom.
Next you will want to decide what kind of game to make. Remember that you don’t need to use everything on a list. And try to be careful to omit things that could never work together. For example, you wouldn’t want to include specific sex positions in the same game that has furniture options. Some positions won’t work on a sofa or in a shower. 69ing in a swimming pool would probably yield terrible results. On the other hand, if you only include positions that could work anywhere on your list, then go for it. My favorite example of a poorly designed dice game is on Bobs Burgers. Bob rolls “lick” and “hair.” When trying to make games using D&D dice in the bedroom, try to avoid making a game where mood killing stuff like that can happen.
Once you have an idea of what kind of game you want to make, all you have to do is write up what values on what dice equal what actions. If you don’t feel like doing the leg work of figuring it all out, or if you need some examples for using D&D dice in the bedroom, scroll to the bottom of this post.
Step 3: Testing and Refinement.
The last step in this process is to play the game. Neither participant should feel obligated to perform any action they are uncomfortable with. So, it helps to know what your partner will or won’t do before you actually write it up. If you start to play and find something doesn’t work you can always change it. I like to include a wildcard on each roll, but your games don’t have to. Games that include foreplay elements tend to work best as 2 parts. Go back and forth with the foreplay part before moving on to the sex. Below are 10 examples of ways of using D&D dice in the bedroom. You can try them yourself or use as a reference to make your own games. They are also available as a pdf download so you can print them and keep them in your night stand.

Example Games
Basic Foreplay (d4, d6, d10, d20)
This dice game uses 4 dice that dictate an action to perform on a body part with a specified pace and a modifier. If you don’t want to use props, (in this case, ice and wax.) just sub those two out for different modifiers. If you don’t like the modifiers at all, you can sub them out for set amounts of time. Partners can then take turns rolling the dice and doing the actions. As with any other sex dice game, anything either partner is uncomfortable with should be re-rolled.
Action (d10): 1 touch, 2 grab, 3 stroke, 4 lick, 5 suck, 6 nibble, 7 rub, 8 tease, 9 kiss, 10 pick.
